Tolstoy Wesleyan is a Christ-centered church in the Wesleyan-Methodist tradition. We believe in preaching salvation through faith in the atoning sacrificial death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, available to all who believe.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we seek to glorify God, obey His Word, and share His love with all the world through joyful worship, active discipleship of believers, outreach both at home and abroad, building bridges of caring relationships in the community, and through compassionate acts of service in Jesus' name.
The Global Wesleyan Church exists to fulfill the Great Commission in the Spirit of the Great Commandment.
Matthew 28:19-20 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
